It is the unwavering character of justice, honor, and rebellion that inhabit the people of a free society. And we must pay the same price our ancestors paid, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Many men can be committed to die for a cause. But it’s far easier to die for your convictions than it is to live for them. For death is but a single and final moment; it is in life that we bear the burden of our choices.

Our Constitutional Republic wasn’t constructed through elitist social engineering or some sort of utopian political theory. It was raised from the ground up; formed from the very natures of the people whom made it possible. This is worthy of remembrance. This is history to be proud of. This is an identity to embrace. This is an ideal to defend.

If the people understood what was being done to them, there would be a revolution by the dawn. Then again, perhaps the people don’t want to know; for knowledge begets responsibility.

We cannot always determine our situation or our lot in life, but we can determine our response to these circumstances. That is what makes a man free; not his conditions, but his actions.

SOL intends to reclaim that which was lost. We embrace the values of our forefathers: liberty, self-reliance, and individualism. We remember the virtues of our ancestors: strength, courage, mastery, and honor. We make our own fate and live or die according to our convictions. We remain true to ourselves and find brotherhood in shared principles. We believe it means something to be a man. We believe it means something to be an American. We act – without apology – in support of these American ideals.

At first glance, the Sons of Liberty presents very much like a militia. We sport guns and Punisher skulls, we love liberty, and we obsess over training. But beneath the surface, our organization is far more than that.

Our cause, our just purpose, the meaning behind our existence, our faith in freedom, is what defines us. The space between the slave and tyrant – that is where we exist – in liberty. For we do not submit to the rule nor become the rule itself. In a constant and unwavering resistance, we keep the flame of liberty ablaze and pursue a noble endeavor to keep tyrants at bay. Our freedom is found in the journey; it has no destination. We are free, so long as we resist.

As liberty-minded individuals, we sometimes feel as though it doesn’t matter who warms the throne of power, but the reality is that we feel this way – a sort of disinterestedness – because we have strayed so far from meaningful leadership and leaders worth following.
